I had chance to do some work inside windows server domain. The server sets up a domain, and it basically administers computers in the domain/network, it's not like regular LAN. The administrator controls all these permissions and so forth. My first impression was that it's so complex; it seems it's more complex than it's necessary. You spend hours and hours, days, maybe even longer to set this up. It's not very intuitive; kind of stuff Google is developing, Yahoo is developing is more intuitive and accessible. That's my impression. So ... I ask this question. Is this stuff, windows, domain control, etc. the future of network computing or something else will be/should be the future of network computing? Platform like Google, Yahoo and MSN is the future of network computing?
