What are you trying to do, Paul?
Build traffic, make money, flip the site, or what? _________________ http://britishexpat.com |

I'm not really sure!
Any or all of the above... probably either AdSense or flip the site (but more for its domain value than content). For now I was just going to sit on it and see what happens. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering

Hmm, it'll be interesting to see what happens to it. Would it be worth including a Twitter feed for this? You could be 'tracking live outbreaks' or something. Maybe have a death count as well. The 24 hour news channels love those _________________ My social media blog |

Can't see an immediate need for either as I'm not sure what you'd say on them. _________________ My social media blog |

Hmmm, as a compulsive domain buyer, I'm finding it hard to see this one as a goer. To make money via AdSense, as I'm sure you know, you need a heck of a lot of traffic converting into clicks. Unless you build something to attract visitors, I can't see how you'll achieve this unless you put in a lot of hard work. Urgh!
Re the domain, yes, it's a good one, but who is likely to buy it? Domainers are unlikely to offer high for it (but you could check that by getting a free appraisal on NamePros or the like).
So, who might your end-users be and where might you find them? Maybe information and advice organisations?
I guess you're taking a punt that the disease does go global, then you may very well be sitting on something potentially valuable. Good luck!
PS: Love Adi's idea of the death count! _________________ http://britishexpat.com |

PS: Unsurprisingly many end-users just don't want to part with any cash - even though they may well have a budget for it.
For example, I own 101Wales.com. The Welsh police created a new non-emergency help line - phone 101. They wanted 101Wales.com to promote this service and asked if it was for sale. I said yes, I'd sell for a reasonable estimate of the market value of the domain.
They never got back to me and bought 101Cymru.net instead. Fair enough, but I don't think it's half as good as 101Wales.com. BTW, thanks for reminding me about 101Wales - that's another one I forgot I owned. _________________ http://britishexpat.com |

I have a whole stable of 101s. It's an easy number to remember (hence the police using it for their phone line) plus it's a way to get a generic name that I otherwise would have no chance of getting.
Dunno if it's a good tactic or not. _________________ http://britishexpat.com |
