Apache locked up several times this week. It appears that this happens periodically at this point. I've been investigating this problem, but no luck so far.

I reviewed error_log and access_log, and I tried to pinpoint the last http request. I think I found one, but accessing the url requested does not reproduce the lock up problem.

Q1. If Apache locks up, can you pinpoint the http request that caused lock up (if it's the case)? Does Apache log the http request?

Q2. If so, how do you pinpoint the http request that caused lock up? Do you look for the last http request made?

Q3. If a particular http request does not cause lock up, then what could cause lock up? How do you find the cause?
